One of the most important things when you’re first rolling into a partnership with someone else is to be on the same page. Having a clear understanding where you’re head is at. The best thing you can do is to be honest with the other person. The hope is that the other person is willing to be the same with you.
The worst feeling is when you believe things are going in a forward direction and it’s suddenly changed in a fashion where rather than moving in a forward direction it’s either push sideways or reversed.
I don’t know if it’s a general sense or something but it feels like a lot of people are feeling lost right now. It’s probably got something to do with the sync of the economy. Fear of money tends to make people freak out. Especially the lack of it.
Not a lot you can do when you find yourself on different pages with someone else. The only thing that happens is if you care about someone that eventually you’ll come back around and get in sync. So far I haven’t yet had such a thing happen. Is it wishful thinking, most likely.
If there is a band that is more about the inward psyche than Pink Floyd I’m not sure I know who it is. With some of the most brilliant music ever made about exploring the self (especially with The Wall) it’s really sad that music like this hasn’t seen a bigger comeback in this day and age. Powerful is the simplest word to use. Ever nuance is tweaked in the performance to exact an emotion. Not to only be the cleanest performance, but the most message or emotional filled is the order of business here.
For all the two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year, I certainly hope they get found. I know someone who I’d like to see find themselves much sooner than later.
Go fill yerself on Floyd now!
