Last night I rolled into Park City. I was happy that I could find a mechanic that could fix the car and do it quick and at a very reasonable cost: $60. If you need an Audi guy in Los Angeles, Fernando at E&C in Reseda is the guy. He found the issue causing my decreased mpg. On the trip home, even with the A/C in full force thru the desert (where it was 108f), I got 24mpg. Much better than 19.5. Whew.
I took Dorian for a quick walk under the stars. What a view in Park City. Crisp, fresh air and stars. I do miss it.
I’ll be heading out to meet up with friends for lunch and dinner. Even gonna spend some time with the Grandma that I have left. Fun stuff. In the meantime, enjoy You’ve Got a Friend.
We all need ’em. Yesterday two of my friends surprised me at lunch by not allowing me to pay for my food due to my birthday. I insisted, but they wouldn’t have it. I appreciated it. Thanks Dave and Brian.
Here’s a great song by Donny Hathaway. I really like the opening with the electric piano. Awesome feel. Great vibe. The drums saunter in and Donny starts in with a soulful vocal. It speaks volumes.
