Nothing like attempting to get everything together for a trip out of town, tying up loose ends with business and then having scheduling being thrown into a tizzy. That’s my thing today. I’ve been asked to do something important that has to happen at the same time I have something else that I need to do. Yikes. Phone time and schedule moving. I gotta roll with it.
Unlike the character in this song, I am a man who can be moved. I can understand the concept going on here. It’s all about waiting on someone else. There’s a whole lot of that going today. The Script has a real great sense of being able to build a song. The whispery intro of a single guitar and the haunting vocal easing in over it. Then the drums and all the rest of it comes in and boom you’re wrapped up inside a song that is very moving despite it’s title.
These guys are certainly going somewhere. No doubt. Go get it now!
