There’s a crazy week lining up this week. I’ve been getting asked to do a lot more performances which is a great thing. The more an artist plays live, the better they can get. The more their songs get heard, and the more chances people will see them and fall in love. I like that.
I have been getting calls about my bus. There is an artist from Utah who is interested in it. Which is odd since I’m finally starting to see more activity show wise. But I don’t have a tour currently lined up and they do. It makes sense to let it go to someone who can use it.
I have a film trailer cue that is nearly done. I have a writing session Friday with a cool dude, Troy MacCubbin. I have a show Thursday night where I may actually have to bring my laptop to read lyrics off of like a teleprompter. Too many songs to memorize in too short a time. Both good and bad I suppose. Though I’ll only need the lyrics for cover songs that I don’t have entirely memorized lyrically.
I have a buddy Bob Karwin who has some island type music that expresses some of the stuff that people think. Today’s choice is one of those things where we all go thru Times Like This.
Bob pretty much summed it up with a simple guitar line, a nice bass part and some cool drums. Then he puts his very signature vocal over the top of it.
Enjoy yourself and may your week be something that will.
