Today is going to be interesting. I’ve been invited to do two completely different things. Both are a ways from where I’m at, though one is roughly 3x farther than the other. The first is the Renaissance Faire in Irwindale. The other is Coachella. Both are being offered by female friends. Both are also free offers. That’s something you can’t beat.
So chances are based on the fact that I’ve been to a Ren faire once before, and I’ve not been to Coachella, I’ll likely go there. We’ll see in a little bit when I make my decision.
In the meantime…
It’s music time. I’ve been having a strange week so I figure it’s high time for a strange song. Or at least a song about being strange. This is a song from a band I once saw at the House of Blues and had to buy their CD right then and there. I liked them that much live. The odd thing is, their CD is not available on the digital sites. I can’t understand why that is especially since they were signed and on tour. Go figure.
Moke was a band out of the UK. Amazingly cool riffs. Cool vocals. Solid drumming, and bass playing. Add to that a good knack for writing a fun tune and it adds up to a band that should have taken off and hit the star status. I have no idea why it didn’t happen for them. Regardless, this is a cool song off of a great CD. Go buy the whole darn thing!
