There has to be some study somewhere that finds too much sleep to actually not be a good thing. At least this is the impression I’ve been getting in the past several days where I’ve actually been getting to sleep earlier. I seem to be getting up rather groggy which isn’t much fun – especially when it’s not due to drinking the night before. Go figure.
You know you’re being a bit of a slacker when your own mother tells you, you missed a Single of the Day. She was referring to yesterday when it went up a little late in the day. 🙂 Thanks mom.
To undo my “multislackin” ways, I’m about to head out the door for mountain bike ride up in the north end of Malibu at Sycamore canyon. Maybe I’ll get a little burst of energy and prevent myself from needing any sleep until my normal 2am sleep time. We’ll see.
In the meantime I’ll leave you with little ditty by Anna. I always thought this particular song had a much cooler vibe from the rest of her album. Maybe it’s the guitarist in me and the fact the rest of the album feels much more mellow. Kick up the energy and let the groggy go. That’s my motto of the day. Hopefully it won’t turn into a wreck of the day. Did you like that? Like how I twisted the album title into the post without any rhyme or reason?
Oy, see how the concept of oversleeping is messing with my ability to be coherent? Consider this to be a warning to myself that I really need to operate on less sleep. Anyone care to keep me up?
