No, I’m not really dying. Depending on who I talk to I could be THE model of health. I do like to take care of myself. Can’t very well plan to live to 150 if you’re not starting on it early. Which is why I research things like alternative medicines and such.
A couple of weeks ago I was at an industry thing for music. While sitting there I was talking to a nice person who I had apparently met before. We got to talking and I asked for some music for the blog (** note to the reader: you’re hearing it now **). We exchanged info and then I decided to ask for a lunch. Conversations turned to other things about what we do and Winifred mentioned she does healing based on the eyes. Jump back. Curiosity got me and I decided I had to make an appointment to learn about this.
Here’s what I have learned. The eye’s and their composition relate to the body’s systems and their conditions. There’s another theory that there’s only two colors of eyes – blue and brown. I’m amazed by that. Without getting all technical about it there are other things that show holes in their makeup in the eye. Those holes represent areas of weakness in the body.
My eyes are pretty darn unique. I get lots of comments about them all the time. They’re not blue, nor brown. They have a lot of different colors including a rusty sunburst overlay. They also have a lot of depth to them. Lots of visible layers and designs. I suppose it’s because you can see through all those holes in the systems.
Winifred took time looking at my eyes, marking things down and trying not to laugh. I was cracking a lot of jokes and making my usual weird observations about things, twisting words and phrases. She mentioned something about layer upon layer of things going on in my eyes and that it’s rare to see. Well, I could have said that without the examination.
From there it becomes a testing of energy for specific things. That was interesting as well. As she was doing it a couple of things popped up that I was curious to know how she could tell. One thing is that I’ve been susceptible to strep for a long time. I can’t get near anyone that has it or I’ll get it *snap* just like that. I didn’t divulge that, she mentioned it’s in there, or rather in me. At that point I started thinking there’s really something to this stuff.
End result is, I’m going to try the things she recommends and do a follow up in a couple of weeks to see what’s changed in my eyes. If I take this far enough, my eyes are to change color to blue. That would be downright freaky. I really like my eye color for it’s uniqueness. Couldn’t the body show those health things solely by the holes in the layers?!?
Beyond the healing stuff Winifred also sings, as you can tell right now. She tells me she’s getting a lot of fans down under in Australia, among other places. That’s pretty darn cool. This isn’t a highly country tune, but her direction is heading in the alternative country market – based on her other tunes. I chose this one because I liked the production and the melody stuck with me. It also reminds me of her laugh and smile. Obviously I can relate that because I’ve met her.
That’s one of music’s powerful things, quick references to a memory or feeling. There are certain songs I’ve got where when they come on they instantly take me to a moment I’ve been a part of. Not all songs do that, but some do it without my having to think about it. Very odd. I suppose Hugh Grant was right in Music & Lyrics – nothing can make someone feel as good as fast as a well crafted pop song, or any song for that matter.
Maybe that smile and laugh is translating to you right now and for that you need to get thyself to iTunes and capture it.
