Today is going to be a day of making phone calls and getting some things fixed around the house. One of them is about getting the neighbors to stop spraying gook into my yard and getting my dog sick. The other has to do with fixing a leak in the shower. The great thing about having high quality parts is that the manufacturer will warranty the parts and send free replacements. Even better is they’re sorta like the Apple of faucet design. It’s simplistic and elegant. Even better is that the construction is of great quality. Thus it will be easy to replace it and have it working again.
The phone calls relate to the library. Lots of new people to chat with about the sales position. There’s a couple of real promising people.
I’m also working on an interesting idea to help get music licensed. It will be really unique. Not sure it will work, but it will be an interesting experiment as I’ve never seen it done before. If it works I will share my discovery.
Lots to get to, so lets get to the music.
Here’s what I have to say about things that need to be fixed, by and by. Not that I’m following the idea of the lyrics here for Lay Low as it’s more about someone coming clean with having done someone else wrong in a relationship. I suppose I could say bye bye to things like my shower control that was doing me wrong? Silly connection.
I really like the low key, laid back nature of the song. They do have a making of video to go with it. Shows that it was done live in the studio. That’s how you get those organic sounds. Real instruments, in a real room.
Since today is a bit overcast it also flows thru the vibe of what I’ve got going on today and with the weather.
