One thing I appreciate about pushing myself is seeing results. Generally I’m not one to compare myself to others, but I am competitive to an extent and certainly with myself. I like to do things better and refine them. In getting into the workout of P90X I’m finding that I’m starting to get into a groove with it in the completion of the 2nd week. While I’m not fully realizing any kind of increased strength yet, I am seeing/feeling results. Especially with how I feel while walking around and doing things. One thing I’ve noticed is that I feel a little taller, especially while driving in a car. All the mirrors need to be readjusted as the angles are now wrong. Very strange. I can’t imagine that I’m actually growing. But something is indicating that I’m taller.
It will be wild when I finally start seeing more then the endurance get better.
The song for today is Little Bluebird. I guess I’m thinking that as I’m gaining strength and endurance I’m thinking it’s the same a little bird that is growing up and learning to fly. Heather Pierson is the artist and writer behind this little number. I really like the piano tones. They sound amazing. Heather’s voice is floating over it much like how a bird would flow on the wind. At least that’s how I’m hearing it.
May you make your day soar – with this song as part of the soundtrack.
