I’ll be working on touching up any guitar and bass parts for a project Robert Navarro and I are nearly finished with. That’s one great thing to the rain, it’s giving me a good incentive to stay in the studio for longer hours than I normally would. Who am I kidding, I’m in there a ridiculous amount as it is.
Once done with that, I’ll be finalizing some more edits of music going into the Library.
In the meantime, I’m gonna leave you with a tune whose title explains the nature of the weather we’ve got going on around here. Storm after storm. Lots and lots of water coming down. Raindrop by raindrop. Drip drip. Good thing there is a multitude of music that can help keep the spirits up and this is one. An antsy uptempo hard rock number that was considered metal in its day. Though now it’s a bit more tame in sonic quality. The guitar playing is top notch, but then what can you expect from a guitar player like Steve Vai?
There’s a story in the lyrics and an even bigger story in the music itself. It’s not static. It’s on a journey and that’s something I don’t hear in a lot of music. How appropriate that the title expresses movement eh?
Go have some guitar fun with some old music! Get it for your collection if you don’t have it already.
