Ever notice how things like the IRS and the banks are very quick to take your money but extremely slow to help out. This is generally true. However in the past month and half I’ve noticed that the banks I’m dealing with have become a whole lot nicer. I’m not exactly sure why this is. I wonder if it has to do with being in precipitous positions with the bailout or something. I recently had a credit card do something extremely stupid and as of this morning I had to spend time on the phone with one of their agents to fix the situation.
Interestingly the agent was very nice and very willing to do what he could to correct the issue. Excuse me?!? Removing fees that were do to things they caused, researching why my account was showing issues again due to an error on their part and essentially doing everything he could to correct the situation to correct it. While the situation isn’t fully resolved yet, I have to wait on the answer. I have the feeling they’re going to fix it.
So my reaction to this is ‘No Way!’ It’s quite amazing and I hope it carries us thru whatever crisis and beyond. It would be nice to deal with this lesser than greed attitude as a way of doing business. That’s how I’m connecting it with today’s song choice. Though musically it’s probably more aggressive than the attitude of the sentiment.
Who can have ignored Korn. They were themselves. They were pigeon holed into a genre that people think they created and in reality had nothing to do with. Such is the way of a misinterpreted genius right? Or at the very least very creative peeps. There is certainly one thing that can be said of Korn whether you like them or not, they very much sound like themselves. In this day and age, that’s really hard for 99% of the artists that are struggling for commercial success.
If some cards are played right by a buddy of mine, I’ll actually be working on a project with a member of Korn. Still way to early to know if that will come to fruition.
