I remember one day when my dad walked out on to the porch of our house and let out a scream. I didn’t really get it at the time. But I get it now. I bet there’s a whole lot of people around the globe that would love to let out a scream or two right now.
Watching the government spend money it doesn’t have (borrowing if you will) to put into corporations that have gouged their customers, then ignored their customers, and essentially let greed run rampant is a bit like banging one’s head against the wall. I watched an interview with a family that all works at the same corporation that is looking for money in the bailout. It’s like 8 members of the family all working in the same failing corp. All worried about their job. Which is understandable. However, consumers have repeated asked for better product and that product has not come to market. Thus, consumers have gone elsewhere to get what’s asked for.
That’s the idea of a capitalist society. So why give money, bailout, or loan, to a corp that refuses to reduce costs on employees, and won’t provide technology that is already available today. It’s bad business. Taking all that in alone is enough to make a sane person want to scream.
We’ve hit a collision point where it’s time to stop allowing greed to take precedent.
Which is why I’ve picked Ahmond’s track today. It gives me the feeling that I want to get out. A scream. It’s not the most in key thing. But it’s a gut felt thing. The instruments provide a moving and shifting base that gives the feeling like you can run screaming in the desert and go nuts to let out frustration. Admit it, you’d love to let out some guttural screams once in a while. Right?
Enjoy a little scream, and pick up Ahmond for your library. At some point, you’ll want to be reminded to scream.
