Last night I got to spend some time with some friends I haven’t seen in quite a while. It was a trip to Costa Mesa to a little eatery known as Eat Chow. It’s run by a friend of mine. Well, more than run, it’s owned by him as well. The menu is small like his establishment, however size isn’t killing the quality. The food is so damn good that you end up getting through a meal and noticing you’re full and yet you can’t stop eating. It’s that good.
The company of people was great too. Good conversation, great food, and lots of laughs. A successful night of socializing without the use of a computer, a phone or facebook. Imagine the concept, seeing people in real life and not through a screen.
For some reason I’m partial to David Lee Roth and his song That’s Life today. A campy type of rock thing. Powered by a powerhouse of a band that included Steve Vai and Greg Bissonette. Have fun listening to the music and thinking about letting go and enjoying yourself.
I’m off to work on finishing the tagging of music in my library.
