I got the encoding finished yesterday. I then spent a few more grueling hours going thru the library lists of both computers (since they’re both referencing the same hard drive server), to make sure the lists were the same. Even after two passes thru the libraries it somehow has managed to put the counts at 4 songs different. I can’t figure out where the counts are different. So bizarre.
I may have to go thru them one more time to see if I can figure it out. But alas, I may not. It’s done. The server has been moved. The method of delivery to the stereo is now being researched. So close to having audio nirvana in the house.
One thing that has been going around for me recently is talk about energy. I’m told I have a lot of it. Being that I’m the person, I suppose that is why I don’t see it. Do we ever see what we radiate?
Due to having that ‘something’ that people love to tell me about, I’m going with a song by Itaal Shur. Simply enough it’s called You Got Something More. I don’t normally feature a song here that isn’t on iTunes, but I felt compelled this time. I really like the pounding bounce of what’s going on with the rhythm.
It’s like a very sultry but manly push around a room with a partner of the opposite sex.
The horns. The chords. The movement. Pow. It’s got a fun movement going on. It all helps to support the vocal and propel the song. I would love to hear a bit more dynamic in the song as it feels like it starts at 10 and stays there. Imagine if it had the dips and valleys of volume. Whew!
p.s.- in case it’s got a familiar sound or vibe to it and you’re thinking “man, I’m sure I can place it.” But you can’t. Well, think of a massively popular tune by Santana and Thomas. This is the cat who was behind the creation of that.
Enjoy and got find that something more!
