Life is funny sometimes. Who am I kidding? It’s funny a lot of the time. The hardest part is knowing when to laugh.
Over the past several years I’ve had many a friend tell me that I inspire them. Often its for the music. Other times it’s for other things that I do. Today I’m gonna chat a little about food and cooking. I’m often told that I’m inspiring due to the fact that I really dig cooking and the method of finding good food.
I’ve had friends even go so far as to suggest that I ought to have my own cooking show. I think that’s a tad extreme. I do love to cook. It would be fun to have a cooking show. Well, now I’ve had the opportunity come across my screen to submit for a Gordon Ramsey show. Thus I’ve filled out the paperwork and I’ll be heading out later this week to seeing if I’ll be able to get a spot on a show to show off some cooking goods. Should prove to be fun nonetheless.
In the mean time I need to get rolling on some phone calls and such for the library and other things.
The moments of being inspiring certainly puts on in a feelings of being on top of the world. Which brings me to a tune by Marcus Eaton & the Lobby. From an album they did called The Day The World Awoke. He’s a master of the Dave Matthews style of writing and playing, but in a way that is original and unique to him. That’s a tall order, but Marcus is pulling it off.
Slick guitar riffs and some jazzy style of chord changes are abound. Not only in this song but across the whole album. If you’re into this style it’s something you really need to explore!
Go have a great day!
