A month or so ago, I had my car’s AC charged up to make sure that the pounding LA sun didn’t boil me when I’m out driving. It was pushing buckets of ice into my lap when it got charged up. The shop even mentioned that they would add dye to the freon in order to check for leaks. Well, today I’m takin ‘er back in to the shop as the AC isn’t pushing ice buckets anymore.
So far they haven’t been able to find a leak. The thought is that they may not have gotten enough freon in the system. Hmmm. Not sure what to make of that. But ok. I just want to make sure that there isn’t some underlying problem and that there isn’t a leak. I want the car to dump ice in my lap when I need it. That’s all. 🙂
I really don’t think the Dixie Chicks had the idea of air conditioning in mind when they wrote the song you’re hearing now Cold Day In July. Nah, the lyrics are about removing oneself from a relationship and getting on with life. The vibe fit this morning well, overcast and mellow. We all need a reflective off beat tune now and then.
May you have a cooler day today.
