Once in a while you have a random chance meeting and things go with ease. Like it was meant to happen. You hit it off and there’s some sort of magic. The movie Serendipity was about that. Of course it takes it to the extreme with two people searching years later to find each other.
One would think that the advent of modern technology would be a boon for being able to keep information you’re given by someone. However, I had an instance where my phone did not save the information. Very disappointing. Needless to say, it’s not fun when you want to go do something with someone again and have no way of contacting them because you only have a first name.
I guess it becomes one of those things where something shouldn’t be said and it gets chalked up to stupidity.
That leads me to today’s pick with Nothing To Prove. While the song is about with two people dancing around a relationship, it still makes sense to say there comes a time when you have to let go of the fact it was only a moment and nothing more. We can’t guess what is going on in the head of the other person.
This song was probably the biggest hit for a group of guys that I had the pleasure of hanging with several times. They were a great band in a live setting. Nice group of guys too. They had all kinds of good things going for them and then the ball got dropped by the label and they didn’t get the necessary push to put them on top.
It’s still a great song. I still recommend you go get it! And always make sure that you double check your information.
