It’s been a good getaway from LA for the past several days. I’ve been able to visit with a great group of friends. Had an awesome evening with a high school friend and got to spend some time with family that helps with grounding my head.
Today, I’ll be heading back to LA in a different car than I left with. That’s a bit of an adventure right there, but I’m sure I’ll be happy with it. I can’t complain.
I’m about to hit the road, so again I’m going to keep this short. Today’s selection is a band called King’s X. If there is a band that I know of that should have been more famous and bigger, I can’t think of who it would be. This is from an album they did a few years back. One that was very eclectic like their early albums. It’s a tune called Move Me from a CD called Please Come Home Mr Bulbous.
I can not for the life of me understand what that title is supposed to mean. However, that doesn’t stop the music from kicking serious musical butt. Powerful guitar tones. Massive bass tones. Musical drums. Slammin vocals and killer harmonies. I can’t speak highly enough about this band.
Enjoy the ear hole candy and I’ll be back atcha tomorrow from the land of LA.
