As a friend of mine once wrote… Sometimes I wonder (what bowling balls are made of). I’m always amazed at when someone says they left a message for me. When I know full well I didn’t get one. Unless my phone company has started having glitches I really doubt someone attempted to call me and either didn’t get me on the phone or left a message that doesn’t show up.
Though I will say that most “dumb” cell phones don’t always get text messages. Which is jpo to me (just plain odd). I’ve had a “smart” cell phone for a number of years and I’m able to store thousands of text messages on it. In a sense I haven’t hit the memory limit for text messages. I’m still attempting to suss out if the iPhone has a limit to the number of text messages it can hold. I’ve heard it’s the standard limit of 200 from ATT. But I don’t have one yet. Anyone know?
The good thing is, the person attempting to get a hold of me yesterday (or so they claimed) got a hold of me today. It was in regards to some music they want me to sing on. This is a good thing. I’ve never me the person, but googling their name results in a who’s who of the music biz. Thus I’m happy to be considered for the job. Maybe it will lead to some bigger things down the road, we’ll see.
Since America seems to be having trouble with the communication about the bailout bill, I’m going to make my choice today resemble something good from the past. A band that seems to come out of retirement once in a blue moon to play a gig. A band pretty much everyone has heard of. In fact if you don’t actually own some of their music, it would be akin to not owning any of the Beatles music. You’d be plain weird.
Led Zeppelin. What more can I really say. Powerful drumming. Powerful guitar parts. Powerful songwriting. Powerful vocals. It was a magical time for music. Too bad I didn’t get to see/hear it first hand.
Don’t have it, get it now! Legally.
