Is life really temporary? A fantastic question. I don’t think it’s all that temporary. At least not from my viewpoint. Things in life are temporary. Cars, clothing, bikes, some friends, some enemies, even things that can relate to your body. In my case today a tooth. As the ability to live longer begins to increase, our concept of the human body will expand to understand that parts will be replaceable.
I’ve been on the phone this morning working on getting my tooth fixed. Fortunately I’ve got an appointment to see a dentist about it this afternoon. It’s truly amazing how such a small part of the body can effect the whole.
If there is one thing that I doubt could ever be temporary it’s health. Probably why I’m considered a nutcase to my friends. As much as I joke about my body, I do take it seriously. I don’t want to be temporary. 🙂
In light of that, I’ve been exposed to a young artist that you’re listening to right now. Carly probably takes health pretty seriously too. A former gymnast attempting to go for the big time in the music industry. I wonder how she’ll treat performing. It’s a bit like being an athlete.
The song itself is one of those pure pop ditties. There’s a smooth edge to every portion of it. Lots of production quality. The producer in me certain appreciates it. It almost feels like she’s attempting to see how her first song goes as I couldn’t find anything but this song. Maybe it’s a single for some movie. It would work very well in something like a flick starring someone like Hillary Duff, Mandy Moore, or maybe even Miley Cyrus.
Support a budding new artist. In the meantime, I’ll be fixing a tooth and finishing some songs.
