What exactly is model health? Doctors and trainers spend many hours studying all types of things that relate to the human body. Some are good, some are not so good. One thing is for sure, the more we let companies like Monsanto fuck with our food supply, the more complex it’s going to get to stay healthy. Do a little research and that company and it’s enough to scare the shit out of ya.
In light of that, I’ve been told by my doc and by a naturalist that I’m one, a model of physical health and two a fast healer. Pretty cool I suppose. I saw a news story today about a gent who had accidentally cut off his fingertip and ended up using what he called “Pixie dust” to regenerate a new fingertip. It’s part of the science of regenerative medicine. Guess what, it worked. He’s got his finger back, with full feeling and sensitivity. The before/during/after pics are amazing. He then went on to joke about how the new fingernail actually grows much faster than all the other fingers, being that it’s only 2 years old while the rest are 65.
I mentioned Aubrey De Gray not long ago. Remember those theories? Well, seems some of them are going to be coming to light just as he claims they would and being that this is only a few years off it’s the first of the 7 steps he’s put together to prolong life indefinitely. That 25-30 year time frame to figuring it out doesn’t look so unrealistic.
Inch by inch we’ll eventually figure it out and be able to remain healthy with a little work. Which brings me to the eclectic tune for today. I dig the opening loops. The dark organic filtered tweaked noises. Sounds an awful lot like Stylus RMX being used, but then that’s the beauty of Stylus – it’s a very useful tool for creating interesting and neat loops. Lots of little delicate layers are brought in piece by piece to create a canvas of sound.
That’s also the beauty of music. It can be used to create a different world. It doesn’t always have to be about feel good for a moment stuff. It’s hard to make a layered canvas of sound sound inviting and mysterious. A lot of it comes down to the quality of the instruments and sounds used. Then comes the vibe and the attitude. This is where I think Erinn is excelling. Don’t you agree?
