I can pretty much confirm that I’ve been dealing with a mild case of food poisoning. I really can’t imagine what a full blown case of food poisoning would be. I made a vain attempt to brave it yesterday by going to dinner. From what I was told, I looked sad. Not exactly how someone would want to look. I had the chills and wasn’t able to be as strong as I had hoped.
Yet another night filled with a lack of sleep and tossing and turning along with all the fun that accompanies food poisoning. I feel like I’m starting to actually feel a bit better. However, I’m going to have to skip hanging with some friends today. I’ll be spending it in bed again – instead of enjoying the skyline of the ocean and beach. Which would you rather do? That’s that I thought.
In the interest of uplifting spirits I’m choosing a song about skylines. Seeing as how I’d rather be seeing them than the walls of my room. Karmacoda is the artist that brings this ditty into reality. The drum loops setup a solid groove that would normally have my head and body moving. I like when the song shifts into the chorus around 1:10 in the song. There’s a nice lift and a cool little harmonic change.
There is a lot of stuff swirling around in the mix. I recommend spending some time with headphones and exploring what’s going on in there. I’m sure you’ll find many little pieces of ear candy.
In the meantime, I hope you’re not having to deal with an illness.
