Long day of driving.
Not the longest day, but a long day of driving.
I reach my mom’s house and proceeded to shower to freshen up.
Then it was off to a friends condo to meet up before hitting a bar to see some old friends.
Then it was the bar to see some old friends.
Lots of alcohol was consumed.
We moved to another bar stayed there for a little bit.
Moved to another bar. Oops, oh bars in Utah close at 1 a.m.
Part of the party moved to a hotel room.
We get there, drink a little more.
The pool is closed but that doesn’t stop us from finding a way in.
Swimming ensues.
Noise is made.
Other guests get pissed because there’s a group of about 10 people enjoying the water way after closing time and aren’t wearing proper attire in the pool and jacuzzi.
Management shows up saying pool is closed, cops are coming.
We towel off and head back to the room to drink and chat more.
It’s like the games we always played and we’d never all moved different places.
This is a song I once wrote originally for the Women’s Pro Football League (American football). It never got off the ground, so I kept the song and reworked it late last year. I re-recorded it, added some fun noises in it. Then made versions for several pro leagues and a few teams I follow in Los Angeles. It’s a little repetitive for the sake of being a sports anthem. Do you work for a team or league? Snatch the tune and start getting the crowd motivated to play and have fun!
