Ever try to kick the breathing habit? There are times when I try subconsciously and others where I try on purpose. I think I tried this morning. That’s the only thing I can attribute to feeling like sleep didn’t work so hot at recharging my batteries. I also vaguely remember at some point thinking, ooh I need some air. For the times I’ve tried to kick the breathing habit, it has yet to permanently kick in. No I don’t wish to die, I’m thinking it would be one less thing to worry about and thus would make life easier.
There are also times when I’m getting exercise where it would be nice to have some extra lung capacity. Wouldn’t it be great to have a little switch to flip on your ear that increased you lung size by a factor of two? I do. Then for those times when I’m attempting to gulp in some air and don’t feel like I’m getting enough I could get more. Is there a lung expert listening, you’ll make a fortune on coming up with that. Think of all the athletic peeps that would jump on that modification.
Janet Robin is singing about the need of breath, or at least catching it when she’s in the presence of a favored lover. It’s one of those romantic notions that we generally hear about but always wonder does that really happen. Well, has it happened to you? I’ve seen Janet perform. The first thing that caught my attention was her ability to play the guitar. She’s a solid player, and that’s something most people know I don’t say lightly. I was at a show to see another friend of mine perform. But the performer with more charisma and playing chops was Janet Robin. I’ve bumped into Janet a few times since then. She’s done very well with her path. Performing as the guitar player for Lindsy Buckingham and Meredith Brooks (oh the story I have for my audition with her band is funny).
Janet has a lot of the same endorsements I’ve got as well, that’s pretty funny. We like of lot of the same gear. One thing I do find a little strange is that she doesn’t have this CD on iTunes. She does have one of her CD’s there, but not all of them. I’m not sure what that would be for, but who knows, maybe she’ll eventually get them all up there. Until then, if you’re looking for kickin’ guitar chops you’ll enjoy this one.
