Oh the change of one’s schedule. I’ve recently started to try getting to sleep before 2 am and it’s throwing me completely out of wack. Couple that with the government imposed time change and boy it’s a twisty turny world. Thus I’m subjecting myself to creating the blog posts at times I didn’t intend.
Ever do something unexpected? I did today. I ended up visiting the office of a person that hasn’t been returning phone calls on a deal I’m involved with. I showed up unannounced as I knew it would require action on their part. As they say the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Let’s just say I can be very squeaky when I need to be and that time had come.
The secretary was surprised at my visit and phoned the person in question. Initially she didn’t accept the call. When she did finally return the call she hung up quickly on the secretary and had her assistant call back. They actually weren’t in the office. So when I got on the phone with the assistant it was like I was talking to a brick wall that had already been spoken to. To put it mildly the customer service/support of this company is probably the worst I’ve ever come across.
Three weeks ago I had an escalated phone call with the assistant very expressly showing my concerns at the information being doled out and the lack of returning messages and phone calls. She claimed she would do what she could to rectify the situation and yet three weeks later it’s gotten worse, which is what led me to pay a visit. Needless to say both the CEO and the assistant were less than pleased with my actions. Hmmm, really?!? Then start paying attention to your fucking business and start communicating – that’s what I explained in a more controlled manner.
So to relieve some tension I’m posting a pure pop feel good song. Liz has certainly changed up her image and sound. For some fans it has fallen on deaf ears. In the interim I’m sure it has also led to a host of new found fans.
What do you do get to your frustrations out?
(** Disclaimer: If Liz’s label asks why can’t they take me to cleaners, I’ll have to scrub the audio from the server. The post will remain to show frustration that can kill business. **)
