Is it Gentleman, or Gentlemen? Whenever I hear people singing this song I hear them singing Gentlemen not Gentleman. In fact when I did my version of the song I sang Gentlemen. Go figure. What’s you take on it?
You know I’m about to hop in the car and take a road trip. But I figure I’d take a quick moment to talk about the movie Pursuit of Happiness. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend it. I knew it was a new movie with Will Smith, but that’s about all I knew. I like Will Smith because he tends to make very good choices with his movie roles. So going in and expecting nothing was probably a good thing. I walked out feeling like a different person.
There’s been a few movies in my life that have effected me in some way. I like to get those movies so that I can watch them again to be inspired. When Pursuit of Happiness comes out on DVD, I’ll be getting it on DVD. I’d rather not tell you anything about the story. But I will say, whoever directed it, did a fantastic job of putting very sutble nuances in the film that you probably won’t notice right off the bat. It was actually very cool that I picked up on it.
Ok, I’m sure you’re familiar with the song. So I won’t say much about it. Other than, I dig this version. It’s soothing.
(** Disclaimer: If Jesse’s label won’t let me Rest, I’ll Pursue my own means of removing the audio. The post will remain to get you to see the movie and hear the song. **)
