Pushin’ Forward Back on iTunes
Back in Los Angeles and getting back into the LA groove. Has anyone written the back in the LA groove song yet? Maybe it could be a sequel to Back in the NY Groove. Or maybe I’m just hallucinating. Yeah, that’s what it is. I’m out of my mind.
It was pretty windy yesterday. Mother Nature was signaling her desire to switch gears. In LA that means to drop leaves off of trees, but instead of changing colors, they brown up and die. I do miss seeing trees go through color transformations. Oh well. This is where I’m set to stay for a bit. I just planted an Apple tree in the back yard recently. I’d like to see that get somewhere.
I’m betting in Seatle there’s some semblance of a change in the seasons. Though I was up there about a year ago purchasing a tour bus, I distinctly remember lots of green but somewhat cool wet air. It did rain a fair amount while I was there. Does it snow in Seatle? I don’t know, but I’m guessing it does. Has anyone reading lived there in the winter, can you enlighten me.
Hard to believe I’ve owned that bus a full year now. Whew. Some times you don’t think about things. Then BANG, you’re recaping some memory and whew you feel like you’ve missed something. Ever get that? It’s kinda how I feel about Temple of the Dog.
I wasn’t into Pearl Jam nor Soundgarden at the time they were hugely popular. Call me silly. I finally delved in some of their material recently. I also came across Temple of the Dog. This was a collaboration between the two camps that was to honor a fellow musician. That’s a great start I think. Have you heard of this before?
I obviously like this particular song, however the whole damn thing rocks. If you’re a fan of Pearl jam or Soundgarden and haven’t got this CD – where ya been? I especially dig Pick the Crowd Up. However I felt this song today was a better choice for when you’re work and all of a sudden you feel like you’ve made progress, but then took two staps back. I think we can all relate to that.
(** Disclaimer: If Temple’s label comes after me with destruction on their forward plans. I’ll be chaning the audio to sit on hunger strike. The post will remain for you to relive getting your work one. **)
