I don’t go to kinko’s. At least I haven’t been there in a long time. I do have a print shop that I do go to when I need stuff printed out. A few years ago they had a girl that worked that who was really quite cute. I never actually thought about writing a song for her. The guys from Stratocruiser did. Well, they didn’t write it for her directly but for those girls who actually do and of course she did have that title at one point – so I’m projecting back for this.
I used to go there a lot to get flyers printed and of course to hang out. I hung out because of my buddy Greg and because of the girl. I’ll admit it, she was attractive because she was foriegn. I still go there but most of the personel have changed except for Greg. He’s still there. Recently I’ve been going there to get copies of my business plan printed. Business plan?!? Yes I have a business plan. Likely one of the few musician’s that actually does. Do you know an investor? Then we need to talk – I’m offering a good return on investment. Contact me and we can chat about it.
Getting back to copyshop fantasies. There’s a viable genre going here. What about a stalker who only has the hots for girls that work at print/copy shops? There could be a movie in that. Anyone care to co-write it with me? I envision a take off of Kevin Smith’s Clerks. Though I would not go so far as to call a copyshop girl a clerk. They’re different. They’re helpful. Are they always cute? The limb I’m going out on says – NO! Here’s another idea, a copyshop girl calendar. They could do pinups of the cuter girls near campuses everywhere. Take note Stratocruisers, I’m tossing out some great marketing ideas for ya!
There’s a cool raw quality to this song. I think it’s a great direction for them to go in. You should get it and take it to your favorite copyshop location and serenade the cute girl behind the counter. She might actually appreciate it.
