iPhone day has come and nearly gone. Whew. I’m actually happy that I was not able to get into that mess. Unfortunately I have to delay my getting an iPhone do to a business deal in the works. Oh well. It will be mine, oh yes, and iPhone will be mine!
If you haven’t heard news on the iPhone today, there have been issues with the process of upgrading and activating the iPhone today. One would think that Apple would have enough computing power together at this point to handle onslaughts like this. However it is obviously not the case. Ask any number of people who have had no e-mail service, or that their iPhone is currently a nice paper weight. Not fun I’m sure. Especially if you’re using your iPhone for business.
The excitement and anticipation for the new iPhone is over. It’s here, it’s out. Fortunately I will get to find out about it’s pro’s and con’s in the next 1 to 2 weeks. Well if things go well, the next week. I do look forward to it.
What I am missing and glad I’m missing is all the pushing and whining about what’s happened today. Which leads me to today’s Fallen Friday – Matchbox 20. There’s a band that had some major success. Good on them. Then the singer went on to have even more success – good on him. I actually like Rob, I think he’s got a kickin’ voice for the alternative rock sound.
Chances are you have this song. If you don’t have this song, it could very well be due to a dislike of that band. Either way, it was a veritable hit. That can’t be denied. Well recorded, thick guitars, heavy drums and a sparkling vocal. Top notch production. Makes it easy to hear why the song worked. Need I say more? Probably not.
For those who do have a working iPhone today, I’m happy for you, I’ll be joining your ranks soon enough!!
