One of the hardest things in life to do is wait. Especially when important things are happening and it effects the outcome of what you might do in life. Right now, that’s exactly what I’m doing – waiting. I’m not a super fan of waiting at least not right now. Part of what’s going on is affecting my ability to get musical work done. That is entirely frustrating since it’s due to circumstances beyond my control.
I’m understanding that because of the matters at hand, I won’t likely have any answer until Tuesday at the soonest. All because of the holiday weekend coming up and the fact that Monday is a holiday. Pain in the ass.
While on the phone today with a friend, they were on their way to a Colorado Rockies game. I figure, what a good time to think about the concept of life throwing curve balls. So in that regard, I’d love to be sitting at a baseball game right now. At least I’d be preoccupied while doing all this waiting. Although I will say it’s gotten me to add more material for my book that I’ve been writing. Additionally I will be writing more lyrics later today. Since I’ll have the time to finish up the lyrics to several more songs while doing this waiting.
Getting to the song, it’s geared for those who are Colorado Rockies fans. Thank my friend for putting that in my head today. So right now you’re hearing my sporty anthem that is available for many teams, but this is a day for the Rockies. Enjoy it and may your life be tossing you hits that are easier than curve balls.
