Today will be another attempt at going out for a round of golf. The forecast today calls for sun. That’s a big plus.
Because I’m thinking of getting sun today, I have to run with a song by a friend of mine Daniel Ho. Suncatcher. Who other than a so cal resident would know better? A resident from Hawaii. Daniel is very much a songwriter who captures an essence of life in his music. This song has a very laid back sit in the sun kind of vibe.
I don’t really know what a Suncatcher really is, but I can tell from him lyrics it has to do with someone he’s enamored with. That the person in question provides the light to light one’s day and life. A very roundabout love song for sure.
I like the urgent nature the chorus moves to. It retains the laid back feel but steps up the vibe. Strange I know, but it works.
