Last night I spent time working on putting discs together for Fox Sports. Despite them moving to a digital format – which by the way is a cool system – it’s in the best interest of my library to make sure they have physical discs in backup and for use. Thus today I’ll be delivering them a little later.
I’m still working on converting my cab sims into a more usable format. I ended up writing a note to a contact at Apple to put in a feature request. It seems that making these presets is super tedious. It’s blatantly stupid that there isn’t a way to do in a batch format. I got a response this morning stating happiness that someone is actually making their own presets. Not a great vote of confidence for getting the feature. I must be one of the weird few that use my own presets.
By the way, what the hell happened with the weather? It’s insanely hot. It’s gonna hit 115 today. Ouch!
Hot pow is how I’d call this track today from J-Punch and Dave Moonshine. Almost Over. It’s got a really cool intro that kinda reminds me of some kind of old school video game. The vibe of this electronica song is really moving. There’s a bounce inside there that really makes it feel like you’re propelling along some sort of road trip drive. But in fast forward or something, yet without missing any details.
Really cool use of delays and filters. That’s for sure.
I’m going to take a stab that J-Punch is the producer of the track and Dave Moonshine is the the vocalist. I really like the production and ear candy. No doubt. Dave is layering some cool vocals on top of it to round it out. There’s another newer track called We Had It All, that I will like feature in the future when it gets released as well. Really cool track.
