Did you remember to change your clocks? That’s the first question I got asked today. So I ask you…
Since most of my time keeping happens through a computer and a cell phone, it’s all pretty automatic. I don’t wear a watch, thus I’m not in need of changing it. Pretty simple. Unlike my sister who is a watch collector. I can’t imagine how many she has to adjust.
Anyway, today became a day of questions amongst some of the people I met in Las Vegas. We’ll see what transpires, but I’ve certainly had a lot to think about. Which prompted me to get on the phone and talk to the person in charge. That also gave me some answers. In addition, he made darn sure to point out that he’s aware of my situation and how it differs from the three other people that were in on the meetings. That also gave me some good feelings. Tomorrow becomes even more of a question and answer period. We’ll see what happens.
One question I have is why David hasn’t presented his material for sale on iTunes. I can’t figure that out. In fact, I couldn’t even find him on CD Baby. That’s pretty odd in this time where almost every non-signed artist is now a part of the CD Baby world.
Despite that setback, I still enjoy David’s material. He’s got a unique style for the acoustic singer/songwriter. Well, it might not really be totally unique, but I certainly do dig the quality of what he’s got here. It’s very clean. There’s a great depth in the sound of the guitars. There’s great separation between them and the bass as well. It sits very well.
Musically its very upbeat and reminds of something that I might hear as a soundtrack to something on the PBS network. Granted I don’t own a TV, but I do envision this is the type of music I recollect as backing material to that station/network. Don’t you agree?
Contact David and let him know you want his music to be more accessible.
