Welcome to the Single of the Day edition that explores music by those who aren’t on iTunes yet “Sunday’s Child”. Before I get to the song I’d like to express some concerns about Peanut Butter. They’re not so much concerns as they are observations.
Seeing as how I’m really 13 and made a wish on a Zoltar machine (Tom Hanks portrayed me in the movie Big), I have some expertise in Peanut Butter. I have my favorite style which is smooth. It’s so much easier to spread on anything that I like to put Peanut Butter on. The other day I took some celery out of the fridge, washed it off, then proceeded to fill the groove of the stalk with ample amounts of Peanut Butter. The great thing about eating Peanut Butter like this is I can use my tongue to scoop it out of the celery groove. I can refill the celery stalk with another helping of Peanut Butter then crunch my way through it and feel like I’ve had a good snack. It’s probably my favorite way to eat Peanut Butter.
Another great way to enjoy Peanut Butter is to open a banana (look I spelled banana without help from Gwen Stefani) then get a knife and spread Peanut Butter on it as I eat it. Try that with Crunchy style, it won’t work. I wish I could dip the banana into Peanut Butter like I can with a corn chip and salsa. I’ve tried to do that. In case you haven’t here’s what happens: Banana mushed into Peanut Butter. I can’t eat it like that. I have to end up having mom scoop the banana out of the Peanut Butter as it’s ruined by that point. Banana mush is gross, it spoils the Peanut Butter. But having Peanut Butter spread on banana is probably my favorite way to eat Peanut Butter.
Fried Peanut Butter. Hmmm. You’d think this is a great idea, like say burnt fried cheese. Putting some regular butter in a frying pan and then scooping a good helping of Peanut Butter into the pan. I’ve tried it. It makes a mess and the Peanut Butter falls apart. I’m still trying to figure out how to get it to stop from melting into a gooey glob that can’t be eaten very well. Once I get that solved I think it would be my favorite way to eat Peanut Butter.
I’ve tried to get dog’s to eat Peanut Butter too. I figure if I love Peanut Butter so much, so should man’s best friend. I got some of mom’s groundbeef from the meat drawer since I’ve seen so many cartoons where dogs eat meat. I figure Peanut Butter on groundbeef would work great. Steak would probably be good too, but I didn’t see one in the fridge when I tried it. I squished the groundbeef into a ball and put the Peanut Butter in the center. I tried a small bite. The beef was a bit squishy and tasted strange cause I didn’t cook it, but dog’s don’t eat cooked meat in the cartoons either. The Peanut Butter was good though. I threw the Peanut Butter meatball to the neighbor’s dog. I don’t know if he ate it but if I had cooked it I probably would have determined that it was my favorite way to eat Peanut Butter.
S’mores are so much more better with Peanut Butter on them. Oh and my of my personal bestest ways is to have a Peanut Butter and sugar sandwhich. You’ve never had that? Oh yeah, two slices of bread, put Peanut Butter on one side of both pieces of bread, then spread sugar on the Peanut Butter then put it together and enjoy. Peanut Butter sure makes chocolate and sugar taste better and it’s a way to make them healthy to eat. That’s my reasoning because Peanuts are good for you. That’s some more of my favoritest ways to have Peanut Butter.
Jody, Jan & Heather are the masterminds behind this opus to my favorite food group – Peanut Butter. I have to believe they are geniuses. I mean if an adult knows about this perfect food then all has to be right in the world. I’m told that they’re a brand new group that has been writing songs that are groovy and about cool things. They’re so new they barely have a website. I went there because mom said I could. I looked for the song on iTunes, but it’s not there yet. I hope they put it up soon cause I love Peanut Butter the song almost as much as I like eating the food, I can dance to it, I can chew Peanut Butter to it. How about you?
